Während manchmal der Eindruck entstehen mag, alle Welt wende sich von der Klimapolitik ab, fällt die Uno-Generalversammlung mit grosser Mehrheit einen epochalen Entscheid: Sie bekräftigt das Gutachten des Internationalen Gerichtshofs, wonach die Staaten zu Klimaschutz völkerrechtlich verpflichtet sind. (Auch die Schweiz stimmt Ja; Nein sagen acht Nationen, darunter die USA, Israel, Iran und Russland.)

Aber wenn die Schweiz in der Uno gut abstimmt, ist sie weit davon entfernt, die eigenen Klimaziele zu erreichen – die Rechnung, man könne sich Emissionsreduktionen im Ausland billig erkaufen, geht nicht auf, wie SRF zeigt. 

In der viel zu frühen Hitzewelle (nicht nur in Europa) verlinken wir mehrere Beiträge zur Anpassung – von Massnahmen zur Kühlung von Städten über naturbasierte Lösungen bis zur Schaffung einer Öko-Zivilisation und der Rolle von Kunst & Literatur.
