Die Trockenheit spitzt sich weiter zu – in der Schweiz und europaweit. – Grosse Waldbrände in Nordamerika.
Der Bundesrat setzt aber weiterhin auf Nichtstun, er lehnt die Finanzplatzinitiative ohne Gegenvorschlag ab (weil ja schon das Klimaschutzgesetz einen klimaverträglichen Finanzplatz vorsehe – was richtig ist, nur setzt der selbe Bundesrat diesen Aspekt des KlG nicht um) und will keinen Notstand sehen, obwohl Fachleute dringlich warnen (hier und hier).
Was jetzt noch wichtig ist? Nicht in Verzweiflung zu fallen, mahnt George Monbiot – denn genau dort wollen uns die Verursacher und Leugner der Klimakrise haben.
