Diese Woche vor allem Beiträge zur Klimakonferenz COP30 in Belém: die mageren Resultate im Überblick, Kommentare, Reaktionen, die Rolle der Schweiz und was die Verhandlungen so schwierig gemacht hat (hier, hier und hier). Der Ausstieg aus den Fossilen hat es einmal mehr nicht ins Schlussdokument gebracht, obwohl er eine Priorität der brasilianischen Präsidentschaft war. Wieviel im Waldschutz erreicht wurde, ist umstritten. Viele finden, es brauche andere Gefässe als die COPs, und Lula hat das Anliegen des Ausstiegs aus den Fossilen in die G20 getragen. Keine der spezialisierten Nachrichtenwebsites berichtet aber von Diskussionen über die Klimakrise am G20-Gipfel in Südafrika.
