Contexte de la catastrophe dans l'Himalaya.
Le Népal envisage d'intenter une action en dommages-intérêts suite à cette catastrophe – la Cour internationale de justice et l'Assemblée générale des Nations unies (ainsi que la Suisse) ont ouvert la voie à cette démarche.
Et la SRF se rend à Blatten, où s'est produit il y a un an un événement très similaire à celui qui vient de se produire dans l'Himalaya – mais à une échelle bien moindre.
Le PNUE affirme : nous dépasserons le seuil de 1,5 °C de réchauffement, mais un retour à 1,5 °C après ce dépassement est encore possible – à condition de ne pas dépasser les 1,8 °C. Or, le monde n'est pas sur la bonne voie pour y parvenir.
Après que le Conseil fédéral a finalement réagi la semaine dernière à la canicule et à la sécheresse : les réactions.
Le secrétaire général de Rösti a fait disparaître le terme « changement climatique ».
Un sondage révèle que 74 % des personnes interrogées souhaitent davantage de mesures de protection du climat en Suisse.
Par ailleurs, le Conseil fédéral a mis en consultation le nouveau projet de politique agricole. Là encore, il ne prend pas vraiment au sérieux la crise climatique.
Et l’Union des villes suisses réclame la limitation de vitesse à 30 km/h comme mesure contre la chaleur.
Adaptation à la chaleur dans les villes : le magazine « Republik » se tourne vers Paris et l’héritage d’Anne Hidalgo.
Et plusieurs rétrospectives sont consacrées à l’été caniculaire de 2026 (Watson, Tamedia, NZZ).

Deutschland droht 2026 erstmals sein Klimaziel zu verfehlen
Deutschlands Emissionen sind im ersten Halbjahr 2026 nur geringfügig um bis zu 7 Millionen Tonnen CO₂-Äq gesunken. Zwar wirken sich Elektrifizierungserfolge beim Heizen und im Verkehr positiv auf die Klimabilanz aus, der größte Teil des Rückgangs ist jedoch krisen- und preisbedingt.
